I would rather trade down than take any WR tbh. Of course, it takes two to trade.
That WR from ASU reminds me of Jordan Matthews. I'm lower on him than most. Metcalf is enticing, but the bust factor scares me. We are just horrible at drafting and developing WR talent, so I don't trust this team to get the best out of Metcalf. Either way, I would want to trade down before considering him.
I bet our FO will trade down and then take some position we don't need, making everyone go wtf.
I like N'Keal Harry (the ASU WR), but I see where you're coming from. I don't know if he'd be worth the 22 pick, but it all depends on the need/scouting I guess. I see some Allen Robinson in his game and maybe that's why I like him.
WR Miles Boykin is a guy I'd like in the 3rd/4th round. No clue if he'll last that long, but he's very interesting as a prospect.
RB Devin Singletary is one of, if not my favorite player/s in this draft. I wish/hope we draft him in the 3rd/4th round. I think the 3rd round is probably his floor though, don't think he'll last into the 4th+ rounds. His production at FAU and his game cut-ups are unreal. Dude is such a pure runner with the football. He's fun to watch.
The more I thought about your guy's pick at #22 and your needs, I'd wonder if Brian Burns would be that pick (if he's there of course). He's a true pass rusher, but played around 235lbs this past year at Florida State. He's tall and long, just shy of 6'5 and nearly 34" long arms. Weighed in 249 at the combine and I've seen some comparisons of him to Ngakoue and Leonard Floyd. He's more explosive than both of them, but he's considered as just a DPR at this point in time, just like they were.
I really like WR AJ Brown also. I like him more than Metcalf honestly (they were teammates). Brown is more of a complete receiver than Metcalf and I'd be surprised if Brown lasted beyond the 2nd round. Wouldn't be surprised one bit to see him go in the 1st. He has great body control. Obviously Metcalf has that freaky H/W/S ratio and we all know how the NFL loves those kind of guys.
