In the case of cancelled playoffs I think the order stays the same and the mistery team pick is drawn amongst the last 8 teams in the play in according to point %.

I never understood why the lottery isn't just between the last 5 clubs? Imagine missing the playoff by a point and the next year you draft a franchise player? lol

I don't mind having every non playoffs team in but the winners should only be able to jump 5 spots or something like that.
