Nucks owner Aqualini personally hired Boudreau. Then they’re hiring a gm. Oof that doesn’t sound healthy.
Don't mind it.
Boudreau was given the shortest contract possible, essentially 1.75 seasons.
At the end of this year, once presumably the new GM is hired, he can make the decision on Boudreau. With only 1 year left on his contract at that point, it won't be a big deal for ownership financially if the GM wants to go in another direction.
I prefer them doing their due diligence instead of rushing into hiring a new GM.
We know that Green is not an NHL coach whereas Boudreau has one of the best records in NHL history. This roster is underperforming, it at the very least gives a jolt to both the team and market.
