No matter what way you look at it Harper is better than Judge and it isn't even close.

Availability? He plays with one arm while Judge is 50/50 on if he'll play a full season.
Analytically? More bWAR and fWAR than Judge while also being younger than Judge.
Old school stats? More HR, R, RBI, and SB than Judge.
Clutch? Better with one arm in the playoffs than Judge during Judge's career year

Manny Machado confirmed he plans to opt out of his current 10 year, $300M contract after the 2023 season. Will likely be the first player to land a second 10/300+ deal.

Harper's contract looking soooo good, and just keeps getting better with time. He's not even in the top 20 highest paid players in baseball anymore annually. And he will only continue to drop on that list because his annual salary remains consistent ($26M per year) and actually gets lower in the final 3 years ($22M). A thing of beauty for the Phillies front office.

I wish I could bump this lol https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=85575716&f=201&o=100

100% would rather have judge than Harper, Harper is great don’t get me wrong but he’s not better

Also you’re overhyping this team lol

List is based on this upcoming season, where Harper is going to miss a few months to start the season rehabbing after surgery. Otherwise he'd obviously be top 10 (more like top 5).

7 players in the top 100, not bad.

5 players in the top 50 (same as Astros).

3 Phillies in the lineup for team USA, and would be 4 if Harper was healthy.

Rhys was just carted off with a left knee injury after an awkward looking play.
Tried to change directions as he was backpedaling for a grounder. Hard to say, but i cant imagine that was the best play on the ball. it was a high chopper and he always plays those terribly
Not good either way
