Trea Turner turned down $342 million offer from Padres to sign with Phillies for $300 million, according to @Buster_ESPN

Trea would’ve had to pay around $44 million in CA state taxes. His wife is from NJ and wanted to be on the East Coast. Plus, his wife and Harper's wife are friends.

So far Dombrowski has replaced Brad Hand, Corey Knebel, and David Robertson with Craig Kimbrel, Soto, Matt Strahm, and Erich Uelman. That’s a pretty solid bullpen to pair with Seranthony Dominguez and Jose Alvarado.
