Being the most valuable player doesn't mean you have to have a good team, it just means you're the most valuable player.

MLB isn't like the NBA where one player can carry a team as easily to the playoffs. Baseball is too reliant on so many different players and pieces.

Well they were paying him $355K when he won MVP, so it all evens out.

In a 4 year span the man hit 200 HR's and 572 RBI's with a .280/.380/.600 line. :hail:

he was worth it, even if he did fall off most of that big contract. Winning that world series, him winning MVP, etc, was all worth it.
