where r crabs?
I was going to sell caught crabs but its illegal :/ so I think il just rent my pot out for people who would like a turn lol

Went to gulf shores for vacation, set 2x crab traps with father in-law yesterday evening, this morning had 23 in them that were 5in+(only had throw like 5 back.

Had no idea crabbing was so easy, litterally dropped 2 traps with a heavy rock and couple chicken legs in them with a gallon jug tied off to it for location purposes for less than 12hr.

Crazy thing is, we waded out into some cut in the bay about 50 yards..... someone told me 100% no way gators in this water so I was cool with walking with raw chicken in waist deep water....

Saw a fucking gator when we went to go get the traps, well on the way back to the shore with the traps..... I was friggin walking at night thru a gator pond with raw chicken inhand..... least the crab was good

ive never done it before, but crab season here in california starts on november 1st, im trying to get out there and get some dungeness

Blue crab, everyone eating said they were sandy/crunchy, guess that's what you get slinging traps in the bay, we bought few pounds of shrimp to go with em, nice dinner all in all

I live about an hour away and I catch crabs like that all the time. Fun times
