Even judging the show on its own merits it sucks. Horrible writing, constant plot holes. It's like a CW teen drama.

I’ve enjoyed the show so far, but I will admit, the casting and acting seems a bit off.

One of the worst things I've ever watched. So frustrating because the source material is so fucking good.

For those who don't know about the source material, imagine worse than the final season of GoT in comparison.

holy fuck, they almost just kept couple main story line intact compare to books. I dont think I can view it as something related to the books any more, its like compress 60% of the book material and change the fuck out of most character/their plot. not to mention cutting out massive amount of arc and character. oh well

So it was pretty easy to explain away minor differences in episodes 1-4 as artistic license, and continue watching with an open mind. 5-8? The "writers" have wiped out half the plot points of the entire series in the first season alone, inserted "THE MESSAGE" all over it, and turned what should have been the easiest top rated series into a shit fest.

Not impressed, do not approve. I'll be around to hate-watch season 2 I guess, but in all honesty, Amazon should fire everyone involved, start over, and stay true to the books. It's clear their woke ideologues don't give a fuck about Jordan's story, and can't wait to burn it down in favor of their own.

It's extremely idiotic as well because Jordans story is extremely feminist and progressive. But the modern woke movement isn't about equality it's about shitting all over men, and white people, but straight white men specifically.

Decent finale, sets things up nicely. The big battle was fun. RIP to that little girl standing in front of the tidal wave I assume lol.

I've read the series fully through a few times and I have to say the show has taken some serious deviations from it.

Initial episodes I was ok with it, but with how they have portrayed Mat specifically, I am not a fan. The entire scene at the Eye was a joke. Leaving out the fellowship if you will was a mistake. And the producers really missed the mark in terms of world building. Logain's army and the Shienaran army look like 100 guys total. If they intended to compete with Game of Thrones they really need to cast more extras to build the armies. I have the same sentiment for Tar Valon and the white tower. They feel small. Perhaps I am being a bit strict as a devout fan, but when I read the books as a kid and teen I could visualize massive cities because Jordan illustrated them with his words.

The series has not done that in the slightest.

First 2 or 3 episodes I was on board for roughly a 7.5-8/10 score but was a skeptic. Now I'm not on board. At best this show is a 5/10. They have serious work to do in Season 2.
