Never read the books and the show has been great so far. Some of the casting leaves a few things to be desired but perhaps they will grow on me.

Meh. Never read the books. Ive watched the first 7 episodes and it's okay. Heard so much hype about this show prior, so probably has a lot to do with it. I'll continue watching as many times these types of stories need significant time to develop, but I'm not that impressed currently.
