I took another look at the Noctua NH-D15S. I didn't realize it only came with one fan. The Noctua NH-D15 comes with two fans.

So if you want to go back to your G-Skill RAM, sure. It will fit since there is no second fan.

Corsair Vengeance LPX will work with or without the second fan.

and i probably should get some extra fans for the case...like 3 cheaper ones..db level not super important..unless you have a recommendation

Looking at the manual for the Corsair 4000D Airflow, it already comes with a rear 120mm fan, and a front 120mm fan.

My suggestion would be two Noctua NF-A14 (140mm) mounted to the top, and two Noctua NF-A12 (120mm) mounted to the front.

If you want to match with the Corsair brand, you can use their ML120 Pro (two mounted to the top and two mounted to the front).

imho go 12th gen with a ddr4 z690 mobo and windows 11

ok i used your measurements and the brand but went with cheaper ones haha they a little louder but put out similar air flow

i guess Noctua the new hot stuff? haha

and i did go with your recommendation of the corsair ram...my g.skills didnt have many reviews to go on either

yeah i know I dont know why anyone is pushing for older gen when newer better stuff can be had
actually did get 10850k, but that was a yr ago i'd jump all over 12th gen right now also then 5900x was hard to come by at microcenter or any website

12th gens are super buggy ionno

and they say i9 10th gen better than the i9 11th gen cuz the 11th was produced poorly
