HoW sounds interesting, but i don't know how good is going to be with a plain phase blade and a build based entirely of fire damage. I'm no expert in druids, but isn't it HoW a boost to the physical damage? I thought about investing in summons too, but i quickly changed my mind (even before i started the wt), i want more skill points in Fireclaws synergies... i might regret that decision later, but that's part of the fun.

So it could be possible that your merc will be handling FIs very very slowly which could be frustrating. I'm dependent on my attack speed, i only use Fireclaw so a 2 hander won't add much to the damage. On the other hand, a Phase Blade with 6 Shael runes will provide crazy attack speed (6.2 hits per second) and thus greatly increase my dps.
