So we have been tvting with the same rules/guidelines for 10+ years without any issues. Some east players play 18 for half a month and now we wanna change rules?



Changing the rules and making people change things on their chars won't make it easier for people to come back, it will just make it less likely.

Can't we just adapt and try to play for having fun, i'm pretty sure if everyone just agrees on acting like adults it really won't be an issue. I know some individuals are incapable of this, but i haven't seen any of those play 18 so far at least from what i can tell. Of course people argue but from my experience it's always an easy fix if something is unbalanced in a tvt like i have been saying, no need to make a hen out of a feather.

And i just wanna point out that i know what you are trying to do and i know you mean well, and it's good to see people trying to revive the scene and everything. Really nothing towards anyone discussing rules or trying to make the duelling scene more balanced and more active, that's not my point at all.
Just keep it as simple as possible imo.

The problem though is that its not just east players saying this: A lot of euro players agree that zons and paladins are too strong in the meta. Some of the rules proposed are essentially effortless so im not sure why they are receiving so much backlash to be honest.

My zon can take off a few frw charms and a paladin can toggle off might. Problem solved.

Doing so might encourage old players to un afk, and new players to explore a meta different from easts' zon/pala mirror matches

Pretty sure no1 disagrees that zons and paladins are too strong, and no1 has said anything against making easy rules to balance those classes. Those rules are fine.

What no1 needs tho is rules regarding mdr, dr, frw, lrep on fissure druids, lvl 24 sorcs, hyb flail on shapers etc. Rather just leave those rules and let people experiment and try things out in pub without being too serious about it.

Cthons rules for bowa and w/e rule it will be for paladin is an easy fix and needs to be implemented i agree.

i think this is the right answer. take cthons away, 1 might, then enter into a lot of low pressure laid back experimentation. less rules more duels.
