This ny times articles provided cold hard data to support the argument that Biden is more electable than Warren. It's perfectly reasonable to find this more convincing than opinion articles from NY based journalists who clearly have a harder time staying in touch with the pulse of middle america, or the six battleground states in question.



You're missing the key point: the parties, and their voters, dont hold themselves to the same standard. Trump is running for the "boys gonna be boys"-party while Biden is running for the party of #metoo-hysteria. It is the Democrats and their voters who consider themselves to be morally superior to the Republicans.

The Dems have set a higher moral standard for themselves, deliberately to distinguish themselves from the Republicans and all the "deplorables". Do you really think it is unfair if we hold the Dems to this standard that they have set for themselves?

the people who were calling biden a 'creep' (rightfully so) and even a 'child molester' for smelling ppl's heads are not saying 'DEMS can't support him because of THEIR standards', they are (again, justifiably) pointing out his creepy his behaviour. however, and that's the massive hypocrisy i'm criticising, they also act like the objectively much worse things that trump did are somehow completely irrelevant.

that said, what you appeasingly call the 'boys will be boys' party, officially labels itself the party of 'family values' and 'christian conservatism'. the 'boys will be boys / just locker room talk' excuse is only ever made to downplay trump's (a 73 year old 'boy') disgusting behaviour - when he speaks to bible huggers, he pretends to be one of them - and you can't tell me that every republican voter is simply too stupid to see who he really is. also, a grown ass man invading teenage girls dressing rooms and making comments about dating his daughter is pretty fucking disgusting, even IF you assume a 'boys will be boys' attitude.
