I think the anti-Trump label has sort of lost all meaning. Multiple cabinet members of his have called him a moron or an idiot, his current chief of staff called him a terrible person, his current secretary of state called him an authoritarian, his former defense secretary resigned in protest the first time Trump wanted to abandon our allies. It's an open secret in Washington that the vast majority of Republican politicians can't stand the guy. Outside of complete sycophants in government or the media, and his most loyal cultists, basically everybody is anti-Trump at least to some degree. The joke used to be reality has a well known liberal bias... it's true to say that reality has a well known anti-Trump bias.

I'm not so sure about Bernie winning. I actually think that Clinton was the stronger candidate despite all her flaws and scandals, her campaign just made some crucial strategical mistakes. Bernie, on the other hand, had a platform, personality and coalition which were more "naturally" positioned to hold the EC against Trump.

Imho, the question how a Bernie vs Trump race would have played out in 2016 is one of the big "what if"s. We'll never know.

Most Bernie Bros (85%+) voted for Hillary. Bernie being the candidate puts states like Virginia and Colorado into play for Trump. A socialist would also increase Republican voter turnout by a large margin. A lot of Republicans refused to vote for either Trump or Hillary because they knew that Hillary would just keep the status quo. Sanders? That's a death sentence. They would have come out for Trump in droves.
