The grand jury filing from the SDNY has already been posted. Its about a $325,000 straw donor scheme from what's presumably foreign sources to a PAC, but the PAC quarantined the money in a separate account when learning where it came from, and the straw donor setup was very odd because they had a shell corporation created just weeks before the donation, but then didn't actually route their money through it. Which is the inexplicable part. They sent money from a client trust -> Aaron Investment I -> America First Action, but reported it as Global Energy Producers -> America First Action, GEP being a shell corporation. But that's odd to me and not explained in the SDNY's indictment or any other source- why wouldn't they just route the money from the client trust -> Aaron Investment -> Global Energy Producers -> America First Action? The wire transfer records show it was donated directly from A->C instead of A->B->C, which defeats the whole purpose of a straw man donation scheme.
Either they're colossally incompetent or there's more to the story
