i honestly have no clue how the hell ilhan omar and rashida talib are still on office. i dont like aoc i think shes a damn kid throwing a temper tantrum half the time but shes not as bad as those two.
Agreed. Also the 4th member of the squad seems to be just going with the flow. I don't think AOC has the education and/or the experience needed for the job.
Omar and Talib though are pretty much a "cell" we have inadvertently elected.
From what I've read, Omar pretty much got elected because there was quite a bit of election day and pre-election day shenanigans going on in her district.
It seems there's been a lot of this going on, all over the world. "Groups" of folk from the middle east, migrate to a country, then all move to the same area in the country, where they can affect the vote, or through other actions, get laws changed to accommodate them. For example, about 2-3 years ago, a similar thing happened in the UK where a large group of folks from the middle east, migrated, then congregated, then wanted to declare Sharia law for that area IN the UK. Due to the system in the US... a large group can simply affect the vote and get their compatriot elected to congress.
Either way... it's something that we need to keep cognizant of, lest we find ourselves actually helping the..... silent jihad, that's attempting to be carried out.
/e It seems that in most countries, as far as the middle east is concerned, when they immigrate to a country, they pretty much treat it like there's no one already living there. Theirs for the taking, pretty much.
