But Kamala also ticks all the boxes, and unlike AOC, she has the support of corporate Democrats and the mainstream media. For example, do you seriously think Jeff Bezos will instruct his lapdogs at the Washington compost to write up AOC when he could instead have his dream candidate Kamala, who will happily incarcerate droves of black and brown people and enlist them for slave labor in his logistics centers?
Buttigieg might be a suitable running mate for Kamala though. He's a McKinsey alumni, so he has the right pedigree for this kind of ticket.
Don't forget to talk about how he handled the police force of South Bend when he was mayor.
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/30/us/politics/pete-buttigieg-south-bend-police.htmlThe TL;DR is that he allied himself with the police for political power and whenever it was pretty clear there was some cleanup that needed to happen, made sure to sweep it under the rug. Some real faux-pas in some cases, I could've told him it was a pretty bad idea for his future political career.
They really could be the "Punisher" Duo
I view AOC and her clique as a sort of foot in the door for a progressive voice in the US political arena. Unless they stay there for quite some time, I don't think their influence is going to be more than corporate democrats paying lip service everytime an election roll around. AOC wasn't even sure she'd seek reelection in 2020 because of how the democrats remind her that she's not like them.
I gotta be honest, being a house representative must be exhausting. It's 2-year terms, which essentially means you're in an election year half the time.
