The article is based on rankings made of these people by their enemies. Those percentages by conservative thinktanks are laughable.

Plus he is an old Christian white guy from the burbs.

Democrats moved massively to the right decades ago. Biden is a virulent symptom of that right wing disease they were all infected by. The "move to the left" is just signaling a return to normality. The disease is being treated.
