There really isn't party unity, and there can't be. Bernie Sander's supporters will be up in arms if he's not the nominee and be against to vote for Biden. They won't vote for Trump, they'll just stay home and not vote which is a BIG problem for (D).
It's very clear that the democratic wagons are circling around Biden. Both these candidates are polarizing to the opposite side. It's near impossible to NOT have some attrition, regardless of who the nominee is. Biden as nominee won't be progressive enough for Sanders party, not to mention the "Bernie was cheated" narrative that'll come. Sanders as nominee will undoubtedly turn off a ton of "moderate" Biden support.
I see this being a problem. A big one.
I could be dead wrong, but that's my take right now.
