Why does it sound like you dont think the media is biased and was being fair. Also a followup would be, do you think the media holding a bias and reporting a tqisted version of the truth has no impact on expectations/votes
We have some pretty evident biases in our media, but the wider media isn't biased in the way that so many people often claim -- such as that it blatantly favors one party over the other and actively supports one party over the other. That doesn't exist outside of Fox News.
Our media's biases towards
poor practices definitely has an impact on elections, it has a MASSIVE impact. People can make a compelling argument (and some have) that the wider media's handling of 2016 electoral coverage threw the very race itself to Trump, specifically on the basis of how outlets covered the Comey letter(s) and moreover the entire "issue" of Clinton email use in a breathless tone for 2 whole years.

what do you think about her changing her mind on various issues throughout her career to obviously please a target demographic? You arent naive enough to believe her thoughts were "evolving" do you?
You would need to specify what issues you're talking about here for me to be able to respond. It's important to remember some basic electoral history: Clinton actually lost a winnable election (maybe even one where she was the favorite at the outset) in 2008
specifically because she refused to change her position on the Iraq War, even as others did/pleaded for her to do so. This is a major reason why the whole "Clinton changes her position to please different people or groups" trope doesn't really work with people like me who've had to study way too much political history. Context is everything.
