the revelation today that the whistleblower went first to Adam Schiff before the IG means he directly violated the whistleblower statute

seems pretty clear cut, he did precisely what the statute says he's not allowed to do
This also means that Adam Schiff just spent last week grilling the IG about his handling of the complaint and how he forwarded it, while he was perfectly aware that the whistleblower had violated the statute by going directly to
