agree we'll never prove it most likely, BUT:

if it came from wuhan lab, and wuhan lab is doing gain of function research, and GOF research is genetic manipulation, and this spreads like no previously observed corona virus before, etc etc etc. Eventually the probability that this virus escaped the lab but also wasnt genetically altered with GOF research becomes pretty unrealistic.


The Wuhan lab theory started as a right wing conspiracy theory based on zero evidence. Scientists accidentally getting infected with a naturally occurring virus and accidentally spreading it is SIGNIFICANTLY different than intentional release of a genetically engineered virus. But hey, right-wingers aren't known for nuance or accuracy. I believe it took us 7 years to figure out how SARS transferred to humans and I imagine that it will take a couple years at least before we have confidence in the zoonotic transfer theory. On the other hand, the Chinese having shit quality control so a lab leak is entirely plausible.

just because you dont know the history doesnt make it automatic that its "manufactured out of thin air" just because its what they tell you and you run with what your told zero questions asked. you are either going to get pissed of one day when you realize how many lies you been told or you will keep eyes shut tight.

the first statement is pretty funny, because there is zero evidence for the zoonosis/bat soup theory and yet it was declared a fact immediately
