Would you go and get the vaccine if it's not mandatory?

It's probably fine but honestly, I wouldn't take the vaccine for a while (maybe a year or two).

At my age, I'd be fine catching covid and I'm not sure how comfortable I'd feel with a rushed vaccine where there's no sample of people that took it long enough to see if there are any negative side effects.

So, because 2 months isn't long enough to effectively judge its effect or lack thereof on reproductive health, be afraid of it? Is that your angle here?

Pregnant people are not even approved for the vaccination due to lack of data so don’t understand the point here

The question is if healthy young men or women should risk taking it. They have, statistically speaking, little to fear if they catch covid, and a lot to lose if they become infertile due to a long-term complication from a vaccine whose long-term side effects were not tested. I'm not taking sides here, its a question everyone has to answer for himself; but I think it's a very valid question. After just 9 months of clinical trials, we simply cannot be 100% sure that there will be no long-term complications.

US military will be forced to get it, so we will see what happens with them.
