Wouldn't be surprised if this was a real quote...

I actually like this chick. She has some opinions and heat I don't really agree with but she has her heart in the right place and she is young. Hopefully she will be a little wiser when she sees how politics really works once shes in office.

You don't have to be a genius to be in politics.

Agreed. But you at least have to be able to converse intelligently on a few things. She can't.

The bar dropped to the ground in 2016 when it comes to what a politician needs to be capable of to be successful

George W. Bush and Sarah Palin significantly contributed to this as well.

Very few things in politics trigger me as much as people saying, "You know, George W. Bush wasn't that bad..."

heart in the right place? you mean that interview where she full-on embraced the racism of the modern Democratic party and said something along the lines of "Crowley should not represent/is not a suitable representative of this district because he has a different skin color than the majority of his constituents"?

just imagine, for one second, a white republican from a 70% non-hispanic white district telling his non-white opponent that he'd be a bad representative of their district because he doesnt have the right skin color. CNN and co would be all over it. for an entire week. at least.

George Bush does have a core of beliefs, he does have integrity and he did hold value in service and respect for the office

the irony being that Bush as a decent man was a poor leader that lead to much unnecessary death

Trump as a terrible man with no core principles or integrity and a sloppy leader may end up being better because of less of the unnecessary conflict resulting in many deaths

the comparison bush/trump (as well as the clinton presidency) imho shows one thing above everything else: making the right decisions is more important than personal conduct.
