Hey, if you watched the vid you'd have noted that
- Massive influx of immigrants who vote democrats at a ratio higher then 2:1 which means that the state as a whole keeps sliding further to the left. Some of these immigrants are referred to as socialist hence the tag
- There is fecal matter on the streets, we're talking about sidewalks crammed full with the homeless who don't have toilets in their tent right. So obviously not every street
- The same homeless areas are prone to rodent infestation and outbreaks of desease
"Toilets here are worse then in a UN-run syrian refugee camp" This is PBS news hour, maybe will be loled at for being PBS news hour by Thor123456 but owell

Where are these things happening? I've been up and down SF, Berkeley, and Oakland. While homelessness is a serious concern, it's nowhere near as big an impact on the public as your sensationalized video wants you to think it is. Homelessness is the biggest humanitarian crisis in America, but not because of the impact it has on people who have homes...
And just because some people lable something as "socialist" doesn't mean it actually adheres to the tenants of socialism.

But more blue votes so the red regions dont really get a whole lot of say in statewide affairs, so he has a much better point than you. In fact most states are kinda like this unless you have a swing state
Local elections have a lot more pop than you credit them with. And not so long ago, California elected a republican governor. Granted, it was Arnie, but he's still a GOP.
