I can tone up on the protesting vote against Hillary Clinton (despite she still had a popular majority while EC is a disaster for democracy).
On the other hand i cannot act friendly when all you do is to fall in denial and fart out destructive conspiracy theories.
The proofs are here, validated by your own DOJ or publicly exposed in your congress.

Why do hate your country so much ?

This is NOT a democracy. That's the thing you seem to have trouble understanding.

You laugh, but he's not wrong. The United States is a representative republic, not a democracy (one built on democratic principles, for sure, but not a direct democracy).

The Electoral College ensures representation for small states, and should not go away. I would, however, amend the EC with the Wyoming Rule, in that the multiplier for how electoral votes should be based on multiples of the population of the least-populous state (currently Wyoming, hence the name of the rule). As electoral votes are allocated based on each state's Congressional representation (one per Congressional district, plus one for each Senator), this could also affect the number of seats in Congress, which I am OK with, if this allows for a better representation of the population as a whole.

I think he's laughing at Ghot's "understanding" capabilities.

I'm perfectly aware of EC, and if i laugh it's because Ghot jumped on this point while dodging everything else.

"This isnt an automobile, its a sedan!"

As for the wyoming rule, id be fine just going back to state elected senators and a specific proportion for the house.

State elected senators? You mean certain state officials choosing their state's senators instead of the entire voting population?

Yes, that's how it used to be. The Senate was supposed to be elected by other politicians so they could make well thought decisions and not be held to the quick changing will of the people. Similarly the reason they werent allowed to originate bills with spending is because they arent directly elected by the people.

I see. Now that the Senate seems structurally favorable to the GOP, you want to turn it into an undemocratic institution by denying those pesky voters the chance to choose their own senators.

How dare those rednecks in flyover country demand a say in politics instead of just putting up with the "well thought decisions" by unelected officials who know much better than them anyway?

/e In other news... it's time to send Jason Bourne after Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi, Wray, Omar and Tlaib, for various reasons. Least of which are their danger to this country.

I am reporting this to the FBI. You can't make threats like this no matter how much you hate them.
