Already answered that, its not up to me to fix the woes of society, i cast my vote for that.
Always put your family first.

So, basically, you want to "fix the woes of society" with other peoples money, just not yours.

Why can't other people just put their families first, I imagine a lot of them don't have 60k to waste on a hunk of junk.

My household combined income taxes were around ~$85,000 this year..
We also pay capital gains and get taxed on dividends.
Anything else?

You just said i was spending other peoples money not my own, clearly six figures in taxes every year IS spending my own money on society.
I pay my taxes and i cast a vote, thats my contribution.
I feel zero inclination to do more.

I'd say this is the GOPs first successful day of public hearings since we started them. Turley was a good witness for them, and the Dems didn't take advantage enough of his contradictory statements. I would have to say only Swalwell (who has been surprisingly on-point throughout all the hearings) and actually Neguse took advantage of that.

The Dems going from Schiff to Nadler is very disappointing for them, IMO. I think part of the reason Pelosi originally wasn't sure about Nadler in the role. Schiff was articulate and almost genius in his line of questioning & statements [both opening and closing]... Nadler not so much.

I will say this - the Judiciary committee leadership clearly is a bit more friendly. Seeing the Chair and the Ranking member interact in that committee is a nice little change of pace. Then again, Schiff was on a whole different level than Nunes.

Oh one more note, the GOP jumping on the 'attacks' on Trumps son is hilarious. That was no attack, there was nothing negative said.... that was incredibly overblown
