Well, in the US. I guess I should admit that each country had its own brand of response and results. Sweden has less lockdowns but better results. BMI, age, and population density were likely big factors.
OUr drug overdoses are worse - and our school unions are strong so kids suffered more emotionally, leading to suicides and self harm. This generation is the only one that won't have a prom or a graduation. Its crippling.
From the start I thought to pay people to quarantine if they showed symptoms and don masks voluntarily. Most people in cities are Democrats, so this would have worked well. Places like Sweden did similar things.
Closing down bars I wouldn't have liked but could have probably been convinced of, I would have preferred an age test for people below the age of 40. Blanket lockdowns were dumb I think we can both agree.
