Feb. 2, 2016: The Burisma owner Russian oligarch had his home raided on corruption charges by the prosecutor Shokin
Feb. 4th, 2016: Hunter Biden sent a twitter message to the Deputy SoS and Joe Biden's long-time NSC, Tony Blinken.
Feb. 24th, 2016: Burisma reps were reaching out to the State Department and holding meetings with John Kerry trying to get the 'corrupt' designation dropped, specifically citing that Hunter Biden was on the board.
Mar. 29th, 2016: Shokin was fired after Joe Biden directly threatened the Ukrainians by withholding foreign aid.

Apparently Zelensky had a CNN(Fareed Zakaria) interview lined up for September 13th to announce the opening of investigations. They cancelled the interview after the aid was released on the 11th.
