A better message than ridiculous infighting over "unwoke moments" from 30 years ago, sure. But still not a good overall strategy imho.
This rationale is the same as that of Hillary's negative 2016 campaign: "They hate me, I have no redeeming personal qualities, and my platform is bland as fuck. So all I'm gonna do from now on is talk24/7 about how bad orange man is, how much more experienced and qualified and upright I am". It failed spectacularly.
Democrats need candidates who can inspire their voters and give them something (policy or personality-wise) to vote
for, just giving them something to vote
against isnt cutting it.
The big problem they're faced with is that they have no candidate at the moment who can do that without alienating the white working-class Obama-Trump voters in the Midwest.
