It's not bad, you just don't like what it's making you think. There's a reason you skipped my last post to ride void's.

Your logic doesn't make sense in any form. People are saying the exact same things to you that I am.

You can go hypothetical, philosophical, practical or scientific and it still doesn't make sense.

There is a huge disconnect between someone choosing to abort a pregnancy and a miscarriage.

Miscarriage is a natural death, the mother isn't intending to kill her unborn offspring. Intent matters from a moral perspective...

When you start with life begins at conception you get all kinds of ridiculous conclusions.

You get invitro fertilization is murder.

You get that mothers who were addicted to drugs before getting pregnant are providing drugs to a minor.

Garbage in, garbage out.

She is intending to place the children in perilous circumstances which will likely result in their deaths.

For starters: men can have fertility issues just as much as women do.

No, this scenario isn't murder. I think that's a very extreme outlook, and one you're unlikely to find outside of most fervently anti-abortion individuals. And no, I'm not "pro-life" (I hate that buzzword), even though I maintain a personal preference to avoid abortion whenever possible.

I would adopt after the third. This would never happen to me.

I'm not sure if this was in response to the story below but its fits in perfectly in my mind.

Couple experiences 8 or 9 miscarriages. So many that you'd lose count? With all the money in the world and ability to adopt, you continue to make children that you know will likely die due to fertility issues.

http://pagesix.com/2017/10/04/gabrielle-union-i-had-eight-or-nine-miscarriages/?_ga=2.28505855.251940748.1507162997-113002470.1494803775

is it murder no, on par with abortion no, without fault no. its dark gray to me in a world where abortion is considered black. you can't have 9 miscarriages and then still claim innocence.

Seems a bit silly the topic got so binary so fast, lots of people failing at nuance...

But we are discussing legality, not morality. Completely different things. Pro-choice is concerning the legality of abortion, not morality.

what people will do and what they should do isn't really the same thing. people in desperate situations will rob, kill, etc. that doesn't make them morally allowed to do this without remorse.

the nuanced reality is that some people still believe in the power of their own blood above all else. with the resources to give an adopted child everything they still feel they need one they made. so much so that they've failed 9 times. 9 times. and are still trying. how many will be too many? not from a legal perspective, but from a point that the average person can admit it's not cool?
