I'm on my second degree now, i'm more grounded in what i believe more than ever, but in many classes left-leaning ideas are presented as fact, while conservative ideals are punchlines.

i haven't taken any humanities courses so i've never witnessed that kind of stuff, do you have specific examples? are we talking did god create the earth vs big bang theory?

"The ppl on the campus are liberals that need to hear out the best conservative argument to better oppose them in the future".
"we're gonna make ineffective liberals".

Lol, what do these ppl think a campus is for ? A liberal breeding ground that needs political discussions everywhere?

This is such a stupid argument.

Republicans are not anti-education, they just don't want it to be the government's problem to pay for it. The left wants free college and that's fine, but they are weak (as usual) in how to pay for it. There are members of the right who want free college too, but they want it in ways I frequently preach here:

1. Make it a reimbursement program so you don't have to pay it out if the student flunks out.
2. Require community college first so that it isn't absurdly expensive.
3. Require or at least give incentive to go to a state school for the remaining 2 years after community college to ease the cost to the Fed.
4. Give greater incentives for in-demand fields. Meaning, pay for college books too, or room and board, or some other method of increased incentive for students to major in artificial intelligence, computer science, engineering, quantitative statistics, etc.

That way, it's worth it for the government to reimburse students for this education. Most on the left just want free college regardless of the school choice or major choice, and most want it even if the student flunks out, waive the debt. I think that's stupid. If you want to do that, go for it, but not on the government's dime.

Its god create earth vs. Big bang theory. Its really apolitical stuff.

In college their worldview is one among many. Most people can tolerate that well enough. Some people, the most belligerent of SWJs and alt-fighters, proper reflections of one another, struggle with tolorance in a marketplace of ideas.

The White Anglo Saxon Protestant worldview is so dominate on other areas of life that when WASPs are in places with people different than them on equal footing they feel like they've loat something or had something taken from them. And the worse of the SWJs are snowflakes from the burbs like their 4Chan reflections in the Breitbart comments section. These are loud minorities and campus life isn't anything like people here are imagining.

Ive never hears of the Cis gender stuff outside of here....nobody talks about that shit on campus outside gender studies.

Campus life for me involved going to my class, being bored, and going home.

Lots of homework, neglecting every other area of my life, and drinking 10 cups of coffee daily.

I'm still in touch with it all because in a field instructor for undergrads. They don't seem to care about politics at all and I never bring it up at work except with my libertarian friend. Do you guys know there are libertarian social workers? She is good too.
