Because educated people don't vote Republican.

why did 'educated people' in 6 states vote for Obama twice (2008, 2012) and for Trump in 2016 then?

I don't know why this talking point is brought up so much. Looking at pew research, college graduates backed Clinton over Trump at a 9 point margin. 52% vs 43%. Whites with a college degree? 49% to 45% in favor of Trump. Can we stop with the nonsense? Trump got plenty of votes from educated voters. My family is full of people with college degrees who voted for Trump.

so the people in those states were educated from 2008-most of 2016 (as they voted Democrat nominees for President) and decided not to be educated starting November 8, 2016

We're talking about majorities here. I don't believe educated ppl form the majority, yet.

it takes a tiny % of voters to swing the majority or plurality of voters from one candidate to another

And that is true, politics should represent both uneducated as educated.

Geez.. I so hard want to push the IQ relevance if it were to be my motive to post here.

do you think its more likely the 'uneducated' voters decided to switch from voting Democrat to Republican in 2016 in those states or the 'educated' ones? or was it something else?
