I eat meat because I enjoy it and it fits into my lifestyle (as defined by nutrition). I also enjoy donuts and cake, but I do not eat them on any kind of regular basis. Why? Because they're shit terrible for you.

Vegan / veggie diets are not inherently unhealthy, and if done right they can be far healthier than the average "American" diet. But I'll say again, the ideal diet for a human is an omnivorous one.

Besides it always being necessary, incomprehensible numbers of animals are killed in the process of farming, habitats being destroyed for housing, and the millions of cars that drive miles per day.

Why are these deaths any more unnecessary? Do humans have to eat? Do we have to live in the houses we do? Vegans make an arbitrary distinction between what is and isn't acceptable.

Eating meat is an amoral subject, it is both healthy and natural, and there is no legitimate reason why we should stop.
