Any and all help appreciated.

I want to go from the 1st image to the 2nd image (or kind of close to the 2nd image). I do not want to get ripped, tanked or anything like that. Just toned swimmer build.

I am 20 years old, I'm about 181-183cm tall, my weight is about 60-62kg. I am naturally athletic and have a slim bodynot skinny, slim. This picture is not me, I am a tiny bit more toned than him and my upper legs are not fat like the guy in the pics but it was the closest I could find.

This guy is 22, 174cm tall and his weight is roughly 67kg.

What kinds of exercises would I need to do? (please let me know if there is an alternative to situps 'cos I really don't feel comfortable doing them, it just doesn't feel right no matter how many times I do them)
Any special diets?
Timeframe?
Difficulty?

Edit: Forgot this, how do you go about increasing flexibility in your legs? Is it just stretching frequently and as time goes on you are able to flex more and more?

lastly, in reference to leg flexibility - keep a good stretching program going where you stretch at least 15-20 minutes TWICE per day. This will increase your ability to stretch more and more over time.

I asked my friends and they said that this is a straight "bodybuilding" regiment and I was wondering is it just their lack of knowledge or is what they are saying legit? I mean my lifestyle is pretty sedentary and I'm trying to change that but I also want something doable. Since I am new to everything, is this a realistic first step? How is this different than p90x? As I don't have a gym membership and it may be more convenient in working out if I carve out an hour to work out at home, is that a more realistic program? Just wondering...I think diet wise isn't too bad but being Asian and avoiding rice is going to be rather difficult! ;)

Thanks again!

Hey there.

Well if you are a beginner it can be difficult for you. However if you have enough drive, willpower, and mental ability - you can conquer anything you set your mind to...including this plan.

This is going to be VERY difficult, but also very rewarding. If you want to try it for a few weeks and see how you like it - I would highly recommend that.

If you would rather do something more basic to start with, let me know and I'll help you out further.

Alright, thats pretty much wat I did, now I go another 14 days no carb

my progress is slowin down alot now tho, i could do more cardio, but , I still want to get down to maybe 185, want my abs to show up good, I weigh about 207 at my lowest in the morning

Im just wondering tho, cuz after I cut to 185, im gonna prolly clean bulk through summer

is it bad for your body to constantly cut and bulk all year long?

hey there.

Just increase the cardio, especially morning cardio to bust through the plateau.

Also, bulking and cutting is DEFINITELY healthy. It keeps the body guessing and doesn't keep you on any one single diet or exercise routine for too long.

Bulking and cutting is the ONLY way to gain solid muscle and keep a good physique naturally for everyone other than mesomorphs.

Is it possible to see what a more basic thing would look like? I'm just trying to conceptualize everything before I start since that's usually how I operate. Also, what are your thoughts on the workout program p90x? I know thats a hardcore starting point but right now, it's free for me other than paying for a gym and such.

p90x is not hardcore by any means lol.

p90x is the easy way out and is truly more cardio and muscular endurance than anything. I do not recommend it unless you are not strong enough of will power or mind to train normally.

My stats are as follows:

6'1 (go ahead make fun..)
240 lbs
17 years old

Best Lifts

Bench Press - 245
Deadlift - 425ish
Squats - 405 roughly

I wrestle, play rugby and football.
I have about 5 months until football season and i'd like to cut down to about 220-225 while gaining muscle.
What kind of work-outs and what kind of diet would you suggest?

I have been dieting for about 3-4 months now. I am down 23 pounds. I am currently 237-239 at about 6'

My current lifts are
Bench: 265x4-5
Squat: 365x3
Deadlift: 405x4-6

Those are the big three. Let me know if you need to know anything else. Basically, I was wondering if you would recommend keto to me. I am tired of losing strength. Before my diet I was putting up 275x4x2 on bench. I either want to get this weight lost faster so I can get back to eating bigger and gaining strength or something that I can atleast maintain, because this isn't working. I am very mentally strong. I can avoid cheating and stuff and that's why I thought keto was good for me. I could do it. I was just wondering if someone my size should be doing keto?

Also, some questions. You have salads in the diet. Any dressing? idk of any that doesn't have carbs lol. Also, what is a 0 carb protein shake?

Also, I can get pics if those matter to you so you can get an idea of where i am at.

Thanks alot Raynor. I appreciate it!
