In 100 hours, U.S. and allied ground forces in Iraq and Kuwait decisively defeated a battle-hardened and dangerous enemy. During air and ground operations, U.S. and allied forces destroyed over 3,000 tanks, 1,400 armored personnel carriers, and 2,200 artillery pieces along with countless other vehicles. This was achieved at a cost to the United States of 96 soldiers killed in action, 2 died of wounds, and 105 non-hostile deaths.
I haven't heard of this many tanks being destroyed since Desert Storm (Iraq).
Hmm right, well .. russia sent in a huge offensive..
You call them a battle hardened and dangerous enemy, but were they really? Did they have modern surveillance equipment? I'm not so sure. And who knows.. if it went the other way, it might have gone just as fast. And let's not forget, the US and Allied pulled out last year and things went back to sh1t in 24 hours. A war must be won on many different levels. If the people aren't willing to change their ways, i.e. leave that insane fanatical religion behind, the war is unwinnable.
It will always be a war of values. How are we going to get the world to work together? Maybe a ww3 is inevitable.
