Coming down to just Jokic and Embiid....again, for the third straight season.


Embiid's odds changed from +450 to +250 recently. Jokic still remains the favorite at -250.

Jokic has played 60 games, Embiid has played 54. Not a massive difference in games played.

Embiid leads the league in scoring (again), at an incredibly efficient rate (65% TS). One of the most efficient high volume scoring seasons in league history (33+ PPG on 65% TS is insane). Jokic is obviously incredibly efficient in his own right (something near 70% TS), but he's not the scorer/killer that Embiid is as a go-to scorer. We've seen the Nuggets struggle lately when they need that DAWG from their leading guy, and Jokic just isn't him in that regard. Incredible passer, high IQ, but he's not going to go out there and dominate as a scorer the way Embiid does when you need buckets.

Not to mention we're now seeing the Nuggets get exposed at the wrong time, on a 3 game losing streak and watching Jokic struggle defensively big time as teams go at him with no issue. Meanwhile, Embiid is on a tear and playing as well as he ever has in his entire career and plays on BOTH ends of the floor.
