There can't be good pvp because there is no open trading. With trading you make your pvp chara good, with no open trading everyone will have fully geared pvp chara in a month and then all will come down to a skill and no playing of acuall game anymore. When you have open trade, drop rates are diffrent and you need to play pvm to get good gear for pvp. So the connection will be lost with no open trade and everything will feel dull. Just look D2 pvp, to even pvp you have to gear for some time by playing the game and trade and then you can slowly enter pvp and skill up vile pvp and pvm to get better gear, and thats a long process, in D4 there will be no connection of pvp to other parts of the game and no feel of long rewarding process when you start owning in pvp.
The loot isn't the same type as D2. Gameplay has evolved significantly in 20yrs. D4 isn't as bad as all that, lol.
