I explain some biology for you.

There are two layers of defense in human body.
When you get sick, your body produces antibodies to fight viruses.
It also produces them when you get vaccinated, in fact a vaccination is an inactive virus, that our bodies treat as a real virus.
These antibodies are kept for a short while, like 2-3months, to prevent reinfection and kill all remaining viruses.
So you get a nearly 100% immunity for the virus you had contact with, for some months.
Hovewer a problem is that covid mutates, so these antibodies dont recognize him 100%. They could still partially recognize it and slow down infection.
That was the first line of defense we have.
While the antibodies fade with time, our bodies remember the virus, and they can rebuild antibodies quickly.
It means that while you can still get sick, you wont have any really bad effects, as your body already knows the virus and will quickly build and deploy necessary antibodies.
unless you are unlucky to have a problem somewhere in your health system.

after all that the virus is so small it passes right through the mask = zero protection........its actually worse than than. during normal breathing a person typically breaths through their nose. when they exhale the air is directed down and away. when it goes through a mask it ends up like a plume around the face and stays suspended there, for the next persons face ..............masks are gross.

the size of the virus compared to the opening in the mask is irrelevant. viruses are contained not as small micron independent entities, but in clusters in a globule of liquid. many of these globules are captured by masks, even if the globule is smaller than the mask opening, because when liquid makes contact with cloth is often times clings.

in some cases, depending on the mask sometimes many cases, globules either escape the mask or a part of it escapes the mask.

some virus particles can escape the mask, if you're not wearing a mask virtually all of them escape your mouth.

masks aren't effective on entirely stopping spread, but its idiotic to claim they're not a mitigating factor to spread. they make some small percentile difference in spread, objectively.

mask reach moisture saturation with in 15-30 minutes. after that your just gurgling through moisture, gross huh. in a proper setting masks are changed often. in the public setting they wear them for days/weeks. masks are loaded down with all kinds of germs. their lil babies right at their mouth breathing on them keeping them moist and thriving. every now and then the mask is touched and the culture is transferred to objects in the world. but instead of one person doing that every one is. public wearing of masks with out proper training and being changed all the time makes masks nothing more than a vector for disease.
