ya, tried everything except reinstalling chrome. guess i'll have to do that. literally tried like 10 other things already
sound button-> volume mixer -> select device it should be coming from -> make sure it's not muted
sound button-> sound settings ->advanced sound options -> app volume and device pref -> chrome output device to desired device
can try that
