It should be progressive, so if 50 is heavy for you than thats fine. But if you're worried about forearm size and 50 lb farmers are a struggle, its not because they're not growing, its because you're smol.

Keep lifting, they'll grow.

I'm just starting out again. Haven't really put one into works. I usually cycle, push-ups and pull ups, triceps dips, some sit ups, squats and dumb bell curl and or declines.

You're just starting again but your forearms wont grow no matter how hard you work.

There's some inconsistencies here.

Do you compounds, do your rows, do some weighted chin ups.
