Yep they do, if one casts hydra and you casted chilling armor, every single hydra bolt will lead to one ice bolt. But, these Ice bolts will only ever target the attacker who did cast the hydra.

Yea but I guess due to the density of hydras and how packed in everything is in trav, in effect it just spams ice bolts in every direction lol.

At the end it was just that seeing that happen every once in a while that convinced me to switch to CoH

However there’s not any mention of brand runeword, bonebreak sunder, singer barbs, green wards.

Currently I’ve ww barb with griefz + deathz with sunder.
It has great leech, damage, chance of deadly strike.
But it’s hard to have 63 ias + cannot be frozen without ravenfrost.
My merc setup is

• eth vampire gaze with um
  
• eth guardian angel with um
  
• eth reaper with shael

My thoughts is to give my barb and act 5 merc second weapon with lems. Berzerker axe with six lems for me and pb with 6 lems for act 5 barb.
Maybe I’ll give my merc lawbringer or last wish or grief for main hand.

What do you think about trang belt for cannot be frozen?

Can I wear eth helms on my ww barb or they’ll be destroyed?

nice build. definitely less work than the merc focused one. dealing with heavy split spawns as the merc build can be annoying especially with stoneskin+heal spam.

i run the gavel build and my merc only dies when i kill it by telestomping fanat/amp packs bc i dont have 20fcr yet and the stun doesnt come out fast enough - rarely happens. no cbf frozen either but its not that common or noticeable when merc is onetapping.

ppl hate on the repairing but its cheap for the speed increase and you should be s/e in a4 anyway with halbu right there. a lot of the clunkiness in my opinion comes from the level. the difference between a lvl 85 merc and a 95 merc is very very noticable. the build shines when your merc is onetapping amp'd mobs so you can hork, or can at least outpace the elites spamming heals while you coral mobs for the bad spawns. i think if you are less than 90 you should be doing the grief build.
