Hey,

I need some advice how to cool my gpu 'Gainward 3060 oc ghost 12gb' because the stock vents are so loud they drive me crazy. And the gpu temp goes up to 81 degrees celsius when under load. The case i have is a meshify c with 5x120mm vents placed in the right spot for the best airflow.

I came across nzxt's g12 but i dont know if it would fit my card.

I cant really seem to find proper info on the web for this exact card.. Have any of you tried something like this?

I dont think nzxt's g12 will fit your gpu. You should also keep in mind that you will also need the AiO itself so it would cost you probably over $120.

Its probably cheaper to sell you current card and buy one which has a better stock cooler.

i'm more than happy with the 120$ price tag.

the g12 as it comes may not fit the card perfectly without modifications, but if i have to drill 4 holes myself, i'd do it.

the question is, would the g12s vent spot cool my vrams

Not watercool related, but if it's temp issues you are looking to fix, maybe undervolting the card in MSI Afterburner is an option? Probably drawing too much peak power to clock ratio.

What resolution/screen size are you playing on?

Low/Mid 80's not the end of the world, but sure your Meshify C would allow for better temps. It's a nice case.

3440x1440 34"

i'd like to fix the thermal bomb in my working room, since i dont have ac in this room and it can be damn hot in here during the summer.

spending 150 bucks on cooling is not a problem. its not that easy to get a new gpu for a decent price here in europe.

in a year i'll probably buy a new one tho

its a CFM fan, made to move a lot of air on a "large" surface. The pads soak heat from your VRMs and your case fans and G12 Fan will dissipate it. I was sketched tf out when i installed it (scared of lack of cooling) but its been a few years and my card is still going strong in my secondary build.

That's a lot of screen real estate and resolution to run on a 3060 (it will do it but it's going to draw lots of power), what CPU are you running? This is why you're hitting 82c for sure. You could probably get that temp down 8c-12c cooler with undervolting, the advantage of this over trying to source cooling methods is that you get a direct temp impact once completed. Just as good, if not better than a 2nd sourced cooling method. Especially if you're in a thermal bomb of a room

Maybe try the G12 unit if you are on the fence, NZXT is pretty good about returns under 30 days if the fitment is off or not getting the temps you want.

Just my 2 cents.

e/ after reading again, I see you are calling your pc a Thermal Bomb. LOL!
