don't forget everyone has a full stash of sorb on every char
zons are still in a bag where people build them wrong and die, but well built zons are nearly unbeatable, "beyond broken", whether its damach zon or osama.

Es fb sorc...pretty hard to lock them down so they just tele away and rep/regen.

Sorbing high 20k+ dmg will still significantly weaken an opponent's build. Also with current buff to hydra, it is actually worthwhile to hold cast a couple hydras for both defensive/offensive play similar to trapsin.

High enough es also does really well against nec/druid which is currently top tier.

actually pvp is quite active. on Na and East. i pvp everyday and games are always full.

top builds so far ive seen are

Smiters and V/T pallys
PNB necs
Windy druid
Hdin
Fohers
Auradins
Bowazons/Javas

In the dude above me defense they did dumb down FHR and he mains an assassin i assume. so id be mad too if my main char was nerfed.

Dont you have guide for these auradins?

my raven druid has run into a few high es fb sorcs and I've been pleasantly surprised at how it has more burst damage and interrupts to actually break ES compared to a windy's more limited damage output. I can use flickering flame if they're really defensive so I can keep up the summon stack, when its 30k ravens / 55k with stack, that's about 3800-7000 mana vs non-block, 950-1750 mana vs block, and grizzly smite knockback actually interrupting (and being unblockable) pays dividends, same with 1 point twister (but keep in mind its blockable). And heck, 1 point poison creeper sometimes matters, even if its only 600 damage over 4 seconds
I should get a -stat req wizspike on there so I can stay 163 fcr in the flickering flame setup I suppose, or at least use it for other sorb matchups. It certainly makes auradins look like chumps

Hey there Gloomy, that is certainly an interesting build. Yes, i can definately see such build doing much better than traditional windy, where stomping directly ontop of fb sorc position (potential meteor drop) can be dangerous even with cyc armor.
It's has been really difficult to put high es fb into fhr and lock them down, did your raven manage to do that?
Oh also quite curious how does the high lvl summons fare against fb dmg, can they take more hits now?

there's a question of how much -resists a fire sorc is packing. Summons have 85% resists so every -5% facet is giving them +33% over base damage overall, besides its +5% fire damage. But when a sorc has 14k fireballs, even at 85% resists its going to deal 2100 to summons which is enough to kill spirit wolves (and oak/how) in 1 hit, dires in 2 hits, bear in 4 hits. So facets in their build mean dire wolves will also die in 1 hit, bear might be 2-3. Oak might give them +0/1 hit since its going to die at the same time, so its a matchup you stick with HoW. But thanks to the glitch, we have flickering flame on nonladder as well as ladder, and if you build around a FF swap, you have unbreakable fire immune summons that survive fire sorcs / auradins / fire druids / etc.

I can definitely kill the non-block ES sorcs instantly without it even being a duel. Any time damage is connecting on them, they just drop dead, 55k+ burst is too overwhelming for a non-block build to withstand. Not sure if I've seen any ES MB FB recently

That's pretty cool...i heard about raven druid during ptr, but thought blizzard had reduced the damage significantly.
Glad to see they are doing well.
Yea, taking full 55k+ to the mana/mediocre lifepool is pretty much impossible.

I am guessing many people don't spend too much time/effort/wealth in tweaking their fb sorc.
The gear between a regular es fb sorc with hoto/spirit/shako and improving it to next level takes quite abit with things like circlet/ammy/blue orb/jewels (full on prebuffs is annoying too)
