Did fissure druids receive a buff in the patch?

Sorbing high 20k+ dmg will still significantly weaken an opponent's build. Also with current buff to hydra, it is actually worthwhile to hold cast a couple hydras for both defensive/offensive play similar to trapsin.

High enough es also does really well against nec/druid which is currently top tier.

Ahh yes, good old ow and poison, the bane of esfb.
Hmm...how was your experience against esfb? does it require multiple ow procs to get them down? Also do you have trouble finishing them off at 1hp?

Ah i see, thank you for your sharing though...yes those builds can be pretty deadly. Have you managed to come up with any setups effective against them?

i have a 0dex mb setup but i am still losing to good bowas and assas. smite does not care about block

I didn't have too much trouble against bowas. Didn't play them in 2.4 yet tho.
Assas can be impossible depending on the ruleset.
Didn't play against too much pure smiters, but some good hammers beat me with smite/swirl lock. It depends on the player, but not impossible. Have to test again in 2.4.

A lot of the dueling I've seen in 2.4 has just been very boring near-l8z defensive spamfests now. The autowsg has made it so whether its a fireball or blizz or bone or whatever, casters are just teleporting 3 screens away, chucking a spell, teleporting back. Chainlocking is gimpy and interrupting teleports is nigh impossible. I can only really stomp people who pause unnecessarily long with a delayed throwlock, and that's predictable enough opponents should know to tele off the minimap or never cast more than once. It really shows how much of a difference it made to have even basic unreliable opening wedge tactics like namelock volcano -> teleport just to trigger a single block animation, or random interrupts when a summon gets blocked. Its pretty common to have duels take minutes long of derping around before I kill someone 100-0 in a fraction of a second when they finally let their guard down
