once in a while in my "no mask" thread I will get a comment that says more or less the "no mask" thread belongs in PaRD.

In my opinion, I think it is both political and practical.

Practical to prevent spread of droplet diseases.

Political because it also a form of control and has psychological implications on the individual and society as a whole.

Nothing is innately political.

Everything is political nowadays.

I'm probably too untrusting of all government officials to comment on this.

The only thing I'll say is "THE science" changes too often but the science has always been the same otherwise they wouldn't have fluffed numbers.

reminds me of a argument i used to get into on utube.
something about science and its self correcting mechanism being superior.
so how do you know when to go with the "science"? if its in a state of self correcting.
