Blockrate is different depending on the weapon an amazon wields. If you shael your stormshield and wear a dagger/java your block animation is just 4 frames! Not even consecutive WWs come through. With a dex heavy variant, you can kill them before they manage to hit you even once.

we've already got an 11 frame grace timer for block animations and the patch notes -claim- that blocking no longer interrupts foreswings on animations, though I haven't seen testing confirm this yet since its not exactly easy to tell. Just a basic stormshield with titans already has 3 frame block animation, no shael required, same frames as sin/pally.

But I gotta say the thing I hate most in this entire game is cube bo.. cube bo then run out of bo mid duel and unable to recast it

There is no barb in my test realm. We need to test this. A typical barb vs ama would have a grief ba with 34ias+ and stormshield. One can use the 5os war axe in the stash for the grief. Then we need 2 players, ama just stands still, barb WWs to try to hit her at all. If it is as busted as I think better make a video and post the result into PTR 2.4 feedback on blizzard forum before the bustedness makes it into the final patch.
Skilling:
Ama
max avoid and dodge, max block with a stormshield, wear titans.

Barb:
max ww, mastery, wear metalgrid from stash with double ravens to exclude ar from the equation
weapon grief war axe with 34ias+, use just one grief only for the 4fpa breakpoint

how would we construct a test to see whether cast foreswings are actually being interrupted?
I think it would require taking video evidence and dissecting it frame by frame, I can't think how you'd isolate it for it when you have only random chance to block, 11 frame grace timer on block, short action frames on casts/attacks, etc
its really not a simple scenario to figure out, especially given how we already have a grace timer that guarantees casts go through blocking and totally dependent on RNG since it caps at 75% block

Through probability:
lvl 21 dodge grants 56% chance to dodge a melee attack while standing still. Block chance is 75%. Both of those aren't active at the same time. The chance that neither block nor dodge activate is: 0.25 * 0.44 = 0.11 or 11%. It means by trying a trial with 100 attacks you'd expect 11 hits in average. The higher the number of trials the more exact the number becomes. If the grace time period is true then you're going to land more than 11hits in average. I think a zealer with a very low dmg tight range weapon would be better for this test because he attacks exactly 5 times per second.
