no igpu will outperform your rx 580 so you dont need a igpu.

only thing here I see is your power supply wont be enough for future upgrades.i recommend at least a 750 watt

edit: its fine for your build as it stands but if you plan on getting a newer gen graphics card down the road you will need to upgrade your power supply

Yeah I will actually be using one of the psus we used for the mining, Corsair HX 1200 (overkill i know)

so im set on gpu + psu

I believe this is the build I'll be going with, but this is the only compatibility note i'm worried about "Note:The Corsair HX Platinum 1200 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply length of 200mm is within the Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case maximum of 220mm, but exceeds the recommended length of 180mm. Please verify that the connector locations on the power supply will not interfere with the structure of the case."

any idea if I should get a bigger case or if this is nothing to worry about?

I don't see a problem between the PSU you selected and the case.

Taking a through look at the case, Corsair 4000D Airflow, it does have a storage cage (HDD/SSD cage) that could interfere with the PSU, but that should be removable.

And I see that you picked a 3.5" HDD...so that's why it picked it up. Because you need that cage in there to mount your 3.5" HDD.

Interesting - so chances are that I would need to revise or I won't know until I try it?

Also for those interested in the old rig I have for mining lol

(I already own the HX1200 and GPU, as stated before. So the build ended up ~$1k as expected.)

+ I am selling the other 5 GPUs, so hopefully that will cover the cost of what I just spent on the rest of the PC.

got everything today, thought I had all the cables I needed, and realized the mobo doesn't come with a 24pin atx. + I just sold the other motherboard and sent the cable with it, big F

guess i'll finish it when that arrives on Thursday

There is no alternative for the power supply to mobo right?

Correct...the 24-pin is the main connector.

But I'm scratching my head on why you sold a motherboard with the 24-pin. This cable is typically included with the PSU, not with the motherboard.

Because I'm dumb :)

Already had my psu, for some reason thought that the motherboard included it and not the psu haha

Finally got everything, set up and running smooth.

Only hiccup is I cannot figure out why in the world I can't download things without getting "network error"

Every browser.

Firewall issue? Any idea how to fix? Struggled for a couple hours tonight trying to find a solution online, to no avail

Your problem is not descriptive enough or you're not giving us more information on how you get to that error (what steps are you doing to replicate that error).

My guess is to perform Windows Updates for both OS and the hardware/driver, and then go to the Asus's website for any additional driver/firmware updates.
