Yeah I've got 6 (me and a friend anyways, split them back in 2017 to mine eth)

They seem to be worth about 300 a piece nowadays?

I'd say I'm part of the problem, but I promise it's not retail eth miners that drove up the price haha it was the big money folk buying hundreds + thousands :D

e/ and thank you! I thought so according to the comparison but wanted the opinion on someone here to verify

Am I still set to use this power supply? https://pcpartpicker.com/product/R2mxFT/corsair-power-supply-cp9020103na

Yes, the psu you have selected is fine.

You know, since you said you didn't need the best graphics card and you only plan on light gaming you should consider a gpu-less build utilizing the latest integrated graphics. You can get pretty good performance at 1080p with the latest igpu's and apu's.

but, you have 3 rx 570 gpus sitting around... i would rethink ur build plans since u have the option of using a rx570 as a place holder gpu and spend more on other components like ur processor/mb/storage especially if you tryin to "future proof" your computer.

Any recommendations on cpu?

Upgrade it from: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/qtqBD3/intel-core-i3-10100-36-ghz-quad-core-processor-bx8070110100

to this?: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/HcPgXL/intel-core-i5-10600k-41-ghz-6-core-processor-bx8070110600k

e/ i figured I don't need integrated graphics with the GPU I have?

over your budget but this is a more "future proof" build with no gpu included, but still includes uhd 770 igu which is the second best igpu not bad.

the ram price was not included but its around 350$ more
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-dominator-platinum-rgb-32gb-2pk-16gb-5-2ghz-ddr5-dimm-desktop-memory-kit-black/6484768.p?acampID=0&cmp=RMX&irclickid=yTWypA3rCxyIUHuQX8UQhWtyUkG1Ty21uXxGzY0&irgwc=1&loc=PCPartPicker&mpid=79301&ref=198&refdomain=pcpartpicker.com&skuId=6484768

faster ram speeds and more of it will help with the multi-tasking and opening lots of browser tabs (I won't ask why).

edit: ddr5 is being scalped to hell right now so nvm this build

Thanks for everything so far!

Is there any good reason to get anything with an igpu at all if I am using a GPU?

Like is there a scenario where the igpu will outperform the GPU when the gpu becomes more obsolete?

Slowly learning more about each component, it seems like igpu is kind of irrelevant for a system that has a gpu (not trying to argue at all, i really appreciate all the help so far! still learning, having fun :) )

no igpu will outperform your rx 580 so you dont need a igpu.

only thing here I see is your power supply wont be enough for future upgrades.i recommend at least a 750 watt

edit: its fine for your build as it stands but if you plan on getting a newer gen graphics card down the road you will need to upgrade your power supply
