I see that as different from wanting to give your life "for your country" - which is to support the current regime. I don't think there's anyone left on the right wing, even the Boomeriest Boomer, who sees this country as is as worth sacrificing their life. It's a gay-ocracy ruled by rootless corporations and the pimp politicians they own. There's nothing inspiring or sacred about it.

What they may be willing to die for is the restoration of the founding principles which have been shat upon and summarily discarded.

i mean shit, one of the biggest justifications for the 2nd amendment is to have guns to fight against a tyrannical govt. something many people like myself see as a preventative thing, but something many others see as an actual active potential in the USA.

violently overthrow the current regime is one way to phrase it, retake the country and reinstall traditional values is another. i dont see a way to categorize the latter as anything other than "dying for your country", its literally dying to try and reinstall "american values". people are willing to die to make america great again, how can that not be seen as dying for america?
